Jennifer, a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design got inspired by sea urchins. What followed was an obsessive love affair with pencils as a medium, not for illustration but for sculpting! Take a look at her sharp sculpting skills.
you can see that she is doing it out of great love of it. Thanks Jeniffer for cheering me up.
Delightful, Would buy one of these any day.
Happy and pointy dangerous work. Luvit!
Made my day! Thank you. (smile)
Love the colors and the skill. @Like@
takes a lot of effort and imagination! kudos to the artist.
Really gifted lady, i cant imagine having the patience to sit through making even one, plus i have zero talent lol.
I did not think very much of MassArt untill I saw this. Remarkable!
These look very touchable, as in, inviting touch, yet they are equipped with very sharp points..quite an accomplishment.
Super! Love the colors.
Probably the most expensive chopped pencils in the world? :)
Very imaginative and skillful. This lady has the patience.
They are really lovely! how inventive!
Delightful and Fun!
This is surely an obsession hehe. but remarkably striking compositions.
Can’t say that I particularly like them but I can appreciate the work (read hard labour) and imagination behind it.
I love them and would happily have one on display. so much fun!
I applied to Ringling College of Art and Design and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I’ve done research and found some good things about some of the Ringling programs. However, I haven’t found much about about MassArt. Its heartening to see this work. Did anyone go to MassArt? Any feedback about MassArt would be appreciated.
Thanks.
lot of labour and love, labour of love. :)
