Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) announces the ECA PG Masters Scholarships to applicants for postgraduate (PG) Masters and Masters by Research programmes in five Schools:

ESALA (Architecture and Landscape Architecture)
History of Art
Reid School of Music

Eligibility:

University of the Arts London Postgraduate Scholarships, UK, 2017

University of the Arts London (UAL), UK, offers the following range of courses: Communication and graphic design, 3D design and product design, Accessories, footwear and jewellery, Animation, interactive, film and sound, Architecture and spatial design, Business & management, and science, Curation and culture, Fashion design, Fine art, Illustration, Journalism, PR, media and publishing, Photography, Textiles and materials, Theatre, screen and performance design.

Scholarships are offered in all the departments across the University. For 2017, there are 33 scholarships on offer as part of the UAL Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships. There are two types of scholarships, each with different eligibility criteria. German and international applicants, with a first or upper second class honours M.A. degree, are eligible to apply. The Johan Huizinga Fonds / Rijksmuseum Fonds is offering the Johan Huizinga Research Fellowship 2016 for art and historical research in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this fellowship. The Johan Huizinga Postgraduate Fellowship is open to recent graduates (at the Master’s level), as well as doctoral and post-doctoral candidates.

As a national institute, the Rijksmuseum offers a representative overview of Dutch art and history from the middle ages onwards, and of major aspects of European and Asian art. The Rijksmuseum keeps, manages, conserves, restores, researches, prepares, collects, publishes and presents artistic and historical objects, both on its own premises and elsewhere. The focus of research should relate to the Rijksmuseum’s collection, and may encompass any of its varied holdings, including Netherlandish paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, prints, drawings, photography and historical artefacts. The Graduate Programme for Transcultural Studies (GPTS) of the Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context” at the Heidelberg University, Germany, is offering up to four doctoral scholarships, starting in October 2015.
